Why is it?

That whenever my blog is offline or broken, I’ve got loads of posts I want to make, then as soon as I’ve got it back and working again absolutely nothing seems to happen?

Actually, that’s not true, but the things I’d really like to blog about, I can’t because it’s being indiscrete and would earn me a slap on the wrists from my employers. Suffice to say that my usual perfectionism in my job is taking a bit of a hammering and I’m in a bit of a state of collapse through overwork. I’ve had a week off, and I’m starting to feel vaguely human again, but very, very tired. I keep telling myself that at least it’s only a 6 week half term coming up, and that’s never so bad, then we’re almost rolling into the exams. Three months. I can do that.

And the hubby is making sure that various carrots are dangling around the place for me. Not as an essential part of the diet, I hasten to add! We’re heading down to Stratford-upon-Avon to watch The Crucible tomorrow (OK, ok, I’ll admit it - I’m taking a bundle of GCSE students as well!) and it’s supposed to be a really good production. The review we’ve seen about it links it with the war on terror, so it promises to be an interesting take on an old favourite. That and the fact I get a couple of hours to go shopping in one of my favourite towns.

You didn’t for a second think I was going to be completely cultured there, did you?
