I’ve had a couple of really surprising things that have made me squeeeee this week. You’ve heard the radio recording of ‘Nine Tenths of the Law’ now, and I’m still thrilled by that. Some other good news arrived yesterday, and that involves spending most of half term in Madrid. Not just being in Madrid, but being kid-free in Madrid with a credit card and lots of shops.

And I’ll eventually get to meet the lovely Stephenie Meyer in person. I’m just sad that I’m not going to get to meet Alphie and Pel in Arizona like we’d first planned, but Madrid sounds like an excellent idea. Guidebooks are on order and I’m foolishly excited. Watch out for lots of photos from 12-15th Feb!

Weighed myself this morning and I’ve lost 7lbs since I got the scales two weeks ago. I’ve no idea where it’s vanished from because I don’t look any different, but I’m very chuffed that this stubborn weight is finally beginning to go.

Seeing as half of my degree is in Theology, I’d have been a little worried to getting this stuff wrong! Now what I want to know is how hubby dearest does on it

Life is pretty busy at the moment. Work is insane and that means I haven’t got much time for anything else - like updating the blog! Half term is creeping up quickly - only 3 weeks away now, and I’ve still got loads to do before the exams. I’m sure one of these years I’ll have a peaceful time at work, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be this one.
