BK it’s worth asking regardless. Our respite centre doesn’t take kids until they’re 8, but we’ve been allocated to a lovely lady who does the care in her own home. She (personally) takes them younger than 8, and she’s wonderful.
And Twinkle, the chocs have finally vanished. I had much fun taunting Gareth with them, and asking him if he’d like a ‘Brazilian’ (well, that’s what the labels called the orange ones!) They went down very well with ‘Dawson’s Creek’ series one! Thank you!!

Wow! So pleased for you. Wish my social services was as pro-active. They consider 8 to be the youngest possible age for overnight respite.
