Well, it’s safe to say that life has been a little crazy lately, but the clouds on the horizon are starting to clear and, although next half term is going to be more difficult than the usual downward spiral for the summer, the forecast for the summer is bright.

Frankly, the only way to describe the past couple of weeks is ‘surreal’:

We’re interviewing for a new member of my department on Friday, I’m having an article published in The Sunday Times this week, Little Madam and Tiny Flirt have been accepted to start a new school in September and I’ve been given an Advance Reading copy of this book, direct from the author herself.

If I wasn’t so tired, I’d think I’d wandered into someone else’s life by mistake…
